Everything you need to know before and after your laser treatment

Medical & Safety Information

Professional, patient, and precise — never rushed

Why We Prioritise Safety

At one2one Laser Clinic, your skin’s safety is our top priority. Whether you’re visiting for tattoo removal or laser hair removal, understanding how to prepare — and what to avoid — ensures the safest and most effective results. We take a steady and professional approach, never rushing treatments or taking shortcuts. Every client is assessed individually, and we perform test patches where needed. Our focus is long-term results, not quick turnover — because your skin deserves the best care possible.

Two different lasers — each designed for your specific needs

Our Laser Systems

We use two advanced laser systems: the Ares Lite (Class 1) for hair removal and the PicoKing II (Class 4) for tattoo removal. Each laser has its own safety requirements and treatment guidelines.

Perfect for laser hair removal, even after a holiday

Ares Lite (Class 1 Laser) — Safe for All Skin Types

The Ares Lite is a gentle, non-invasive Class 1 laser suitable for all skin tones — even tanned skin. Because it’s low risk, treatments can safely continue year-round, provided the skin is not sunburned or irritated. It automatically adjusts for your skin type to ensure maximum comfort and safety.

Powerful precision, but with stricter safety rules

PicoKing II (Class 4 Laser) — Advanced Tattoo Removal

The PicoKing II is a high-performance, medical-grade laser designed to remove tattoo ink at ultra-short pulse durations. Because it’s a Class 4 laser, it requires extra precautions. The skin must not be tanned, recently sun-exposed, or treated with fake tan. We recommend waiting at least 4 weeks after sun exposure and 10 days after using fake tan before treatment.

Medications & Health Conditions

Certain medications and health conditions can increase skin sensitivity. Please inform us if you’re taking photosensitising drugs (like some antibiotics or retinoids), have skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis, are pregnant, or have a history of scarring or poor wound healing.
